There is nothing quite like the loveliness of the woods of the American Southeast…or so I think. The Lord has given us much beauty all around, but I especially appreciate the beauty of a chilly mountain creek running through the woods….
I also just listed this photo as a print here.
The other day I was out walking and thought of this: “For the LORD God is a sun and shield; the LORD bestows favor and honor. No good thing does he withhold from those who walk uprightly. O LORD of hosts, blessed is the one who trusts in you!” ~Psalm 84:11-12
“And this is the judgment: the light has come into the world, and people loved the darkness rather than the light because their deeds were evil. For everyone who does wicked things hates the light and does not come to the light, lest his deeds should be exposed. But whoever does what is true comes to the light, so that it may be clearly seen that his deeds have been carried out in God.” ~John 3:19-21
“This is the message we have heard from him and proclaim to you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all. If we say we have fellowship with him while we walk in darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth. But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus his Son cleanses us from all sin.” ~1 John 1:5-7
